How it works

The cubic integration operates across four layers:
  • The plugin installs in one command and bundles the MCP connection, agent skills, and slash commands.
  • The MCP server gives your agent direct access to cubic data — AI wikis, codebase scans, and review learnings.
  • The CLI runs a fast local code review in your terminal. It catches issues before you push, saving time on the full cloud review.
  • Skills activate automatically based on what you ask your agent, such as “review my code”, “how does auth work?”, or “check cubic issues”.
